§ 2-5.2. General procedure for fee increases.

Notwithstanding any provision of this Code setting or establishing specific fees or charges for licenses, permits, filing fees, or any other charge or expense relating to administrative functions or operations, or for functions or procedures legislative in nature, any amendment or change to the fees set forth or established by this Code shall be adopted only after formal requirements of due notice, and public hearing in the manner that ordinance amendments are required to be reviewed by general law.
