§ 2-5.1. Notice of continued meetings of boards and commissions.

  • Notwithstanding any required advertisement of notice of a public hearing, and notwithstanding the absence of or any other provision of law to the contrary, any public hearing held by the county planning commission, the county board of zoning appeals and board of supervisors of the county which may, for any reason, continued from the date scheduled and advertised, such continued public hearing shall be advertised in the same manner as was the original notice of public hearing; provided, however, that should time limitations or other matters prevent such subsequent advertisement in precisely the same manner as the original notice of public hearing, the provisions hereof may be substantially complied with by giving public notice of said continued public hearing by including in the agenda of any of such boards or commission, notice of said continued public hearing; and provided further, that failure to comply with any provision set out herein shall not in any manner be construed to invalidate any action taken at any continued meeting of any board or commission aforesaid.
