§ 2-2.2. Participation of county in Virginia Supplemental Retirement System.

The county hereby elects to have such of the employees and officers of the county, who are regularly employed full-time on a salary basis, and whose tenure is not restricted as to temporary, or provisional appointment, to participate in the Virginia Supplemental Retirement System, under the conditions set forth in sections 51-111.9 through 51-111.67:21, Code of Virginia, as amended, and the county agrees to pay the full cost of participation of its employees. Pursuant to the authorization granted in Code of Virginia, § 51-111.55(2)(a), the county hereby elects to provide such of the employees and officers of the county, who are regularly employed full-time on a salary basis, and whose tenure is not restricted as temporary or provisional appointment with the early retirement allowance subject to such conditions as set forth in section 51-111.55(2)1, Code of Virginia, as amended.
